Piano Man: The Music of Billy Joel Fort Worth Concert reviews
Concert Great, VIP Experience HORRIBLE
The Piano Man: The Music of Billy Joel concert was fantastic. He delivered a stellar performance, showcasing more energy than performers half his age. His setlist included many of his biggest hits, making it a must-see show for fans. Make sure to catch the concert for an enjoyable evening. Avoid the VIP package, as it's not worth the hefty price tag.
The VIP experience for Piano Man: The Music of Billy Joel left much to be desired. The communication regarding check-in times was poor, causing confusion and frustration among guests. The promised goodie bag and VIP perks fell short of expectations, with subpar quality items provided. The Q&A session and photo opportunity with the artist were disappointing, lacking the personal touch expected from a VIP experience.
Suggestions for improvement include upgrading the quality of the swag bag, offering a merch voucher for added value, and revamping the photo experience to a more engaging soundcheck session. Better communication and organization are essential to prevent future VIP disappointments. Considering the high cost of the VIP package, attendees deserve a more seamless and rewarding experience.
Kat Williams Sucks
Here is the rearranged version of the review with some words switched:
"Like Big Pippin and so forth, I had just finished watching all his comedy's that I had recorded. All he did was talk nonsense about Albuquerque and how he despised our town. Then he said, if you don't like it, why don't you leave? So, we did. The only reasons we stayed for him were because we all thought he would still put on a good show. He was late for hours. Even Samuel L Jackson was there; he was the only highlight of the show. I found out he was the one who convinced Piano Man: The Music of Billy Joel to come out and perform. The whole night was a disaster. He was the first comedy show I ever attended, but look what happened. I used to think Kat Williams was funny, but I will never watch another show with him. He really let us down, Kat. From skimpin to pippin. He should take some advice from Snoop Dog and understand that the show must go on. We paid for his performance. It's difficult for me to find a babysitter or even just go out and enjoy something, but it turned out to be a disaster. I'm better off watching TV. He was funnier on TV than live, that's for sure. Get it together, Kat."
MUST SEE CONCERT - Inspiring, Uplifting and Amazing!
The concert was absolutely incredible!! I've been eagerly anticipating the opportunity to witness Piano Man: The Music of Billy Joel live for nearly 4 years, only to encounter various obstacles along the way (timing, weather, cancellation, etc.). However, the wait proved to be completely worthwhile. It was like attending a grand revival, with the group flawlessly performing all of their hit songs. They even introduced their incredible new track "Brand New" and delivered a stunning rendition of my favorite song "Even If" (combined with parts of "There's nothing better than you" - AMAZING). Everything about this show was fantastic, from the exceptional performances of the other two artists, Renn Collective ("Counting Every Blessing") and Andrew Riff ("Jericho"). If you haven't experienced it yet, this is a concert you absolutely must see.
Alabama - Hot & Muggy
The show was entertaining, the group performed well. My wife had a large inflexible walking orthopedic boot, the golf cart shuttle to and from the handicap parking was greatly appreciated. Expected to be hot in Florida in August, being an outdoor venue, the venue had several issues. Unfortunately, there was very little to no breeze that night. Sodas were sold in bottles which did not stay cold very long, cups with ice would have been much better. Lacking in quality, the speaker system had a buzz from one on stage left. The treble seemed like it should have been lowered a bit. Also, a little disappointing was the screens on the side are a little small and lack of use of the center screen for other than background. It should be placed at the top of the seating area and would not affect anyone, the placement of the control center was odd as it blocked a number of rows from being able to actually see the stage, fortunately our seats were not affected. Easily remedied by using a sticker on the actual bench instead of on the steps that were between rows, many people in the stadium seats wrongly picked the row or section and had to move. None seemed to be guiding people, there were a number of yellow shirts (workers). This may be a Covid thing, there was no meet and greet or autograph signing. The concert there was cancelled due to a member of Piano Man: The Music of Billy Joel becoming ill, we were almost to Albany, GA when we received cancellation notice. Our tickets were a Mother's Day gift for my wife 2 years ago for the concert in Albany, GA. Last year the concert was cancelled due to Covid. Early notification that it would not be possible would have been appreciated, my wife has a book about the group she has been trying to get signed/autographed and has carried it with her. The whole scenario made no sense, the items allowed in the gates were ridiculous in description and application. Another lady was stopped for having a fanny pack, which is not allowed, she took it off and hung it over her shoulder which somehow made it acceptable. At the gate a lady next to us had to take her wallet and a couple of items out of her purse and toss it away because it was about an inch too big. We were in the handicap line like she was, so going back to the car would have been a big effort. While we sat in the stand, we saw others with bigger pocketbooks, fanny packs, and one guy with a large backpack.
It's Kiss....
I had never been to a concert featuring the music of Billy Joel because my schedule never allowed it. When I found out they were coming to Indy while I was driving a truck through town, I quickly went online and purchased 2 tickets after finishing work. I also wanted my 17 yr old son to enjoy the experience, as he had some interest in Billy Joel's music. From start to finish, it was hands down the best concert I've ever attended. The next day, my son was still singing Detroit Rock City & Rock N Roll All Night while playing Xbox online. I've been to numerous concerts in my lifetime, including shows by Ozzy, Metallica, Bob Seger, Garth Brooks, Prince, and others, all when they were much younger. But Piano Man: The Music of Billy Joel surpasses them all. Despite Paul and Gene's advanced age, I never once thought about it during the entire 2+ hours of the show. Their energy was incredible throughout. There will never be a band better than Piano Man: The Music of Billy Joel.
